FC Barcelona Set to Play Historic Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou over the weekend

The club confirmed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit Athletic Bilbao in domestic competition over two years following their departure to allow renovations to start.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. Once fully finished, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.

Preparatory Events

Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch in early November. The club said approval is being pursued from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt on 9 December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
